BEYOND THE STREETS was a show that brought together the whole lineage — Basquiat, Haring, Futura, all the names that built this thing we call street art. To be in that room with them said something about where my work fits in the bigger picture. I had pieces in there from every stage of my career. Early tags, canvas work, the brand collaborations. But what stood out — what people talked about — was the alphabet. The fact that I didn't just write graffiti, I invented a whole writing system. That's rare in any era. The golden sculpture you see in the image — that's my alphabet rendered in three dimensions, in precious metal. It's a statement about where this culture has gone. From spray cans on freight trains to museum halls, from the streets to solid gold. But the roots are the same. The letters are the same. The alphabet doesn't change just because the room does.
